TRAVELING BY PLANE: Thessaloniki’s international airport is located in the eastern part of the town, approximately 8 km to NCTh. Access is easy by car, bus or taxi.

TRAVELING BY TRAIN: Thessaloniki’s international railway station is located in the western part of the town, approximately 6 km to NCTh. Access by car, bus or taxi. Please pay attention to difficult traffic conditions in the city center (Thessaloniki subway is under construction).

TRAVELING BY SEA: Ferries from Europe and elsewhere call at Patras (750 km to Thessaloniki) and Igumenitsa (596 km to Thessaloniki).

To reach Thessaloniki from Patras or Igumenitsa, you may use the national overland busses (only for personal delivery and personal or small baggage as f.e. sails). The central bus station is located in the western part of Thessaloniki, approximately 14 km to NCTh.
Within the city of Thessaloniki, you may use taxi or public busses. Taximeters will indicate at most 10 € for about 10 kms. Public bus No 5 plies between Kalamaria and Thessaloniki port with stops close to NCTh.
